Software for South African businesses
We build the operational software a business actually runs on. Not a website with a form on it. The kind of system where every record has a person, a time and a reason attached, and still works when there is no signal.
Field staff work where there are no bars. Our apps record on the device, stamp the real time of the press, and sync when signal returns.
No stop without a start. No batch dispensed twice. Rules live in PostgreSQL, not in a spreadsheet formula somebody can overwrite.
Corrections are counter entries with a person and a reason. That is the difference between a record and a document.
It assumes a desk. The person doing the work is in a tractor cab, a workshop or a delivery van, wearing gloves, in the sun. If capturing the record is a second job done afterwards, it gets postponed, then written from memory, then lost.
It assumes a signal. A cloud form that stamps the time the data arrived rather than the time the button was pressed is not recording what happened. It is recording when the phone found a tower.
It assumes good faith. Which is fine until an auditor asks who entered this and whether it could have been changed afterwards. A spreadsheet cannot answer that. Neither can most apps.
We build for the day somebody checks, because that is the day the software either earns its money or costs you a great deal more.
What we build
Android tablets and phones that work with no signal at all, capture the real time of the press, and sync themselves when a bar appears.
The chain an auditor walks backwards: from the finished thing, to the batch, to the container, to the person who handled it.
One screen that says what is happening right now, what is late, and what went wrong today, readable from across an office.
One system across several branches, farms or depots, with a group view on top and strict separation underneath.
The unglamorous middle of a business: what came in, what went out, who did the work, and what it should be billed at.
Somewhere for your customers to log in, see their own information and give you theirs, without email attachments going back and forth.
Work
Technicians work in places with no reception. The job record now happens on the device as they work, with the real timestamps, and drains itself when signal returns.
One South African platform doing what a small business was paying eight overseas services to do badly: site, invoicing, CRM, bookings, stock, support and payroll.
A pharmacy operation where the paperwork is regulated, the stock is expensive, and the two were being tracked in different places by different people.
How it starts
We do not quote software off a wishlist. We spend time in your operation, write down how it actually runs, and hand you that document. If you never build anything with us, you still own it and it is still worth having.
Then a Foundation Demo: one real workflow, end to end, on real hardware, built on the real database. Paid, and credited in full against the build.
How we workYour onboarding pack lives in the client portal. Fill it in a section at a time, from a phone or a laptop, and it saves as you go. No printing, no scanning, no emailing a spreadsheet back and forth.
